While visiting our son at college in northern MO for the weekend, I got out for a couple hours to do some flyfishing. It was 37 degrees F, overcast, and the water was very stained.
I managed to catch 17-20 stocker Rainbow Trout, a Bluegill, and a Black Crappie.
Most fish were just off shore or along a near-shore drop-off. I used a silver microjig for most of the fish, and eventually tried chartreuse which also caught some fish.
