  1. Amazing selection. Some UK freshwater species are similar to a few of the chub/shiner types and we have northern pike and zander which are like walleye. Our more colourful fish are mostly marine species.

    1. Thanks! Yes, a number of similar species on both countries. Seems like your Northern Pike and Zander can get larger than our pike and walleyes. Do you also have those big(ger) perch and wels catfish?

    2. Perch go to 5 or so pounds (Imperial) and wels catfish around a 100 pounds. the pike to near 50 and zander 20.
