Late October 2021

Flyfished for bullheads and goldfish on a nice, breezy, late October day.  Caught 2 Black Bullheads and 12 Goldfish.

 

Mid October 2021

 On Saturday, I checked out 4 new-to-me spots on a pair of rivers.  They all looked good, but I only fly-fished 2 spots.  Only caught one fish.  15.5" Walleye!

A few days later I flyfished a couple other waters.  Caught Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Green Sunfish, a Redear Sunfish, and a nice STRONG Channel Catfish.

Early October 2021

Flyfished with an accomplished friend, Randy, early this month.  He was travelling nearby and made a detour to try for some Goldfish with me.  There are also Koi in the pond.  We caught some of each.  Here's some of my catch (all released).

Koi:

These Koi brought my total fly-caught Koi for the year to over 50!

Goldfish:

The following weekend, I flyfished a local creek.  Caught some more Grass Carp (now at 164 for the year), some small Channel Catfish, a couple Bluegills, a couple White Bass.

Then stopped by a bullhead/golfish pond.

 These Goldfish brought my year-total fly-caught Goldfish to over 50.
