 Visited 2 different bodies of water.

At the first, I caught 4 Grass Carp, 1 Largemouth Bass, 1 Hybrid Sunfish, 1 Freshwater Drum, 2 Channel Catfish, and 4 Shortnose Gar.

At the second location, I caught a couple Eyetail Bowfin (both female), and a really dark Spotted Gar.

 Didn't have a lot of time... got out fishing around mid-afternoon.  Air temp upper 50's.  Wind speed @ 15mph.

Caught 7 fish, 6 species.  Cool, but also was unable to string together successful patterns for anything. So, how good am I really?  Most times, I just feel like I'm plucking the low-hanging fruits. 😉

I ended with 1 Common Carp, 1 Black Crappie, 1 Largemouth Bass, 2 Green Sunfish, 1 Eyetail Bowfin, and 1 Spotted Gar.  I missed/lost a number of other gar and bowfin.  I call it "charity".

 Got out fishing midweek for a change.  Cloudy, drizzle, some light rain early.  Decent temps in the 50's/60's.

I only landed @ 12 fish, but 6 different species.  A number of bowfin shook free as well.

This is a new species for me....Spotted Gar!
